Content Strategy

Client: Sustainability@DePaul
at DePaul University
Industry: Academic and Social Justice

Project: Sustainability@DePaul needed a strategic assessment of how their digital content and processes for content creation and management could better serve their organizational goals.
Results: As part of a content team, I helped develop a comprehensive plan, including protocols and templates, for how Sustainability@DePaul could utilize its current content and create new content aligned with its 5-year plan.

Impact Reports

Client: Filene Research Institute
Industry: Financial Services & Research Reporting

Projects: Filene sought to detail the findings from its annual testing and research program conducted by FiLab, an incubation lab that tests new solutions in marketing and operations for credit unions.
Results: I created impact reports for two of its research cycles. The reports received the highest hits and downloads on Filene’s website in 2024 and 2025.

White Papers

Client: The Aspen Institute
Industry: Nonprofit, Research

Projects: Aspen asked me to revise its research-heavy white papers to make them easier to read without losing the depth and implications of their insights.
Results: I reworked the texts not only to make them more readable but also to clarify their findings and add commentary so the papers would reach a wider audience.

Projects: Zebra needed concise marketing materials to highlight specific products, services, and entire product lines.
Results: I developed digital briefs and brochures that illustrate key service offerings, unique product solutions, and product lines with language speaking directly to the needs of our clients.

Project: US Bank wanted to create an educational hub called “Financial IQ”.

Results: I strategized, wrote, and edited articles as long-form SEO-optimized content. Using best practices in SEO techniques, I helped create a living educational hub for financial, investment and home-ownership literacy to encourage customers to continually engage with US Bank..

Projects and Results:
Using skills learned from my Graduate Certificate in Grant Writing from DePaul University, I have written numerous RFP/Qs (Request for Proposal/Quotation), including proposals for WittKieffer, an executive search firm, Wight & Company, a commercial architecture firm, and a business plan for a proposed Asian Smokehouse restaurant in Chicago.

These are propriety documents which cannot be shared publicly. However, many proposals resulted in awarded projects and long-term partnerships. References upon request.

Projects: I have helped multiple authors with research and editing for book-length manuscripts.
Results:
THE PILL by 2024 Pulitzer-Prize Winner Jon Eig, narrates the history of the birth-control pill; W. W. Norton & Company, 2015. 

FOOD SAFETY: PAST, PRESENT, AND PREDICTIONS by Dr. Darin Detwiler, a food safety consultant and recognized “icon” in the industry, explores the food safety industry; Elsevier Academic Press, 2020.

Project: Resilient wanted to establish an online presence and spread the word about its innovations in insurance.
Results: I wrote Medium blog posts as part of a continuous and expansive narrative about how Resilient’s model of inclusive insurance provides protections for low- and moderate-income Americans.
